Our terms and conditions are in accordance with UK law and are intended to ensure that our customers can shop with www.thebedcentre.net with ease and confidence.
These terms and conditions only apply to website purchases.
Pricing
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery fees may apply depending on the order value and location in the United Kingdom. Where applicable, any exceptions will be clearly marked on the website. Prices may change without notice, but we will only change the price after we have confirmed your order if it is in your best interests.
Payment
If you order online or by phone, you can pay with any major credit card or debit card. We also accept payments via PayPal, which can be selected when checking out.
Availability of the product
Items displayed on our website may not always be available. If any of your selected items are out of stock, you will be notified of our best estimate of availability and delivery date when you place your order. Please keep in mind that any such dates are only estimates, are subject to change without notice, and do not constitute a contractual obligation on the part of thebedcentre.net to supply goods by a specific date. However, if availability is significantly delayed, we will make every effort to keep you informed.
Images and descriptions of products
Please note that the colours of images displayed on our website may vary depending on the device or technology used to view them. While we strive to ensure accurate colour representation, some variations may occur. Additionally, mattress fabrics may differ slightly from the images shown on our website, as manufacturers may update materials. We make every effort to provide accurate representations, but some discrepancies in fabrics may still occur.
Accepting orders and providing security
When you place an order, whether by phone or in writing, we will consider it an offer to purchase. If we accept your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with your order number, at which point we will enter into a legally binding contract with you. However, we reserve the right to refuse your order if we deem it necessary, in which case we will notify you via e-mail as soon as possible.
When you receive your email confirmation, you will have the opportunity to double-check the information and correct any mistakes.
We may use the information you have given us, or that we already have about you, or that we receive from any inquiries we may make with various agencies, to confirm your identity when deciding whether to accept your order. This helps us protect both you and us from fraudulent transactions. If we decline your offer for security reasons, we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method or to recommend that you visit one of our stores.
Delivery
On stock items, free next day delivery is available to anyone within 30 miles of our warehouse in B77 5BZ
All deliveries will be delivered to your door unless you have requested bedroom delivery. We will also remove your old bed or mattress, as well as assemble any items if requested when ordering.

Any re-delivery that is required due to no one being present at the delivery address for their scheduled time slot will incur a re-delivery charge of up to £100, depending on the item(s).
Removal of an Old Bed
When arranged at the point of sale or prior to delivery, we will remove and recycle old beds and mattresses. This is a chargeable service of £40 for each item removed. This service can be added to your order during the checkout process for online purchases.
If the old mattress is badly soiled and deemed unsanitary to be moved by our delivery team, we can reserve the right to refuse removal.
All old mattresses are recycled by third-party specialist recycling centres near our warehouse, and no materials are disposed of in landfills.
Returns and Cancellations
With the exception of shop soiled ex-display models and specially made orders such as custom sizes, you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
If the purchased product has been removed from its original packaging, your right to cancel is null and void.

To meet the cancellation deadline, send your communication regarding your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
Cancellation effects – If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). If the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you, we may deduct the value of the goods supplied from the reimbursement. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than (a) 14 days after we receive back from you any goods supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or (c) if no goods were supplied, 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel this contract. Unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, we will make the reimbursement using the same method of payment that you used for the initial transaction; in any case, you will not be charged any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of having returned the goods, whichever comes first.
You must return the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation from this contract. If you return the goods before the 14-day period expires, you have met the deadline.
You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the items. For goods that cannot be returned by post due to their nature, the cost is estimated to be around £100.
Transportation damage
Prior to despatch, we thoroughly inspect all goods to ensure that they leave our warehouse in perfect condition. Unfortunately, transit damage can occur. If your purchase shows obvious signs of transit damage when it arrives, please refuse delivery and notify us immediately. If the damage is only apparent upon opening the packaging, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt. In either case, we will arrange for replacement goods to be delivered as soon as possible.
Faulty products
Goods are fully guaranteed against manufacturing, material, or workmanship flaws for a minimum of 12 months from the date of delivery, depending on the manufacturer. There is no warranty provided for commercial rather than domestic use. If your goods develop a fault within 28 days of delivery, you may return them for a full refund or replacement. Only after 28 days and before 12 months is a replacement offered. These guarantees do not cover flaws caused by accident, neglect, or misuse.
Legal
This website’s Legal Sales are governed by English law, and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, which will not be changed.
These terms and conditions are only applicable to the The Bed Centre website. Any other websites to which you link from this one may have their own set of terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of third-party websites over which we have no control.
We are required by law to inform you that sales can only be completed in English and that we do not keep copies of customer contracts on file.
